Activity Module for Desktop Publishing/Multimedia   (FY2004)

This project is developing an additional 25 activities in desktop publishing and multimedia for teachers to use in their classrooms. The ideas for the modules are coming directly from classroom teachers and classroom experiences. Each activity will include an overview of the purpose of the activity, suggested time frame, measurable learner objectives, alignment to the Missouri Show-Me Standards and the National Standards for Business Education, Activity Preparation (for the teacher), Student Assignment (instruction and/or Assignment Sheet), Worksheets (as needed), and Assessment with Scoring Guide/Rubric (as needed). In addition, instructions on the use of the activities and a list of related, helpful resources would be included.

The activity module will be published on the business education Website for easy accessibility of the teachers. In addition to the committee of instructors who are providing ideas and input on the activities, Dr. Zinna Bland, Career and Technology Education Department, UCM, is leading the development the materials that will be included for each activity.
