Certified In-Home Aide (FY2005)
The purpose of this project is to develop a Certified In-Home Aide manual for the State of Missouri. The new manual will be structured as a short-term offering potentially leading towards a certification that is portable in Missouri. The manual will reflect current regulations, content, and technological changes that impact In-Home Aides and In-Home Aide Providers.
A committee made up of Department of Health and Senior Services staff, Health Science instructors, and practitioners in the appropriate field are guiding the manual revision process. Project staff includes Mr. Donald Scott, Project Director, University of Central Missouri, Ms. Shelly Wehmeyer, RN, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Health Sciences Director, Dr. Jim Cook, Department of Health and Human Services, Ms. Mary E. Stassi RN, C, Health Occupations Coordinator, St Charles County Community College.
