Information drives decision-making, and strong, relevant research studies are a key source of information. To inform career education professionals and stakeholders, the Missouri Center for Career Education (MCCE) conducts short- and long-term applied studies on topics and issues that impact career education in the state of Missouri.
Whether research topics are identified by state-level agencies, local teachers or other career education stakeholders, the MCCE research projects are designed to provide clearly stated results in an unbiased manner. Our professional staff undertakes needs assessments, pilot project reviews, impact studies, evaluation studies, stakeholder surveys, or custom projects designed to provide the most useful and relevant information.
In addition, MCCE research projects offer opportunities for graduate students and career education practitioners to participate in meaningful research activities in the field, not in isolation.
