Competence packets were developed as a synthesis of initiatives impacting career and technical education curriculum in a way that can be used for multiple purposes, including Programs of Study. Factors influencing the development of the competence packets include Programs of Study; Career Clusters; technical skill attainment; end of course assessments; and alignment with local, state and national standards.
